New TV Spots for The Dark Knight Rises, Total Recall and Ice Age 4, a featurette on the ship in Prometheus, pics from Django Unchained and Les Miserables, and posters for Red Lights.
The Dark Knight Rises
Another day, another The Dark Knight Rises TV Spot. At least so it seems these days. The fourth TV Spot for the upcoming Batman film focuses on Bruce Wayne being retired as Batman, and how Morgan Freeman’s Lucius Fox is still at work building some of his fancy bat-toys. There’s a real degree of fun here that really has me excited. Also, it’s Batman and I’m a dork.
Ice Age 4: Continental Drift
Ice Age 4: Continental Drift has a new one minute TV Spot that asks a very compelling question: When you drink water through your snout (this is a question posed to an elephant) does it taste like boogers?
My mind is… blown.
Total Recall
This new TV Spot for Total Recall doesn’t show too much new stuff, but it does show the robots that Colin Farrell has to face off with in the film. Basically, they’re the same robots from iRobot, but with a new coat of paint. That’s the same color. So they’re the same.
Prometheus
It’s been clear for a while that the title of Prometheus is also the name of the ship in the film, but this new featurette goes a bit more in detail as to what the ship actually does and how it was designed. I’m happy to know it’s supposed to be a like a bug. Cause that’s how I view space.
As DISGUSTING.
Is it in my hair? IS IT?
Django Unchained
Django Unchained has a bunch of new photos, and as the film comes out this Christmas, I’m betting their in anticipation of an upcoming trailer. No word on that yet, but I’m guessing. It’ll be interesting to have Leonardo DiCaprio have both The Great Gatsby and Django Unchained come out at the same time. In one he plays a racist slave-owning plantation farmer, and in the other one he’s mean to Jamie Foxx. See what I did there?
I made Jay Gatsby out to be a racist. You’re welcome.
Les Miserables
Les Miserables has a bunch of new photos too, and while I have to admit Hugh Jackman looks as dashing as ever, Anne Hathaway doesn’t pull off the buzz cut, Amanda Seyfried continues to have an odd complexion and big ass eyes, and relative newcomer Samantha Barks looks hotter than shit. I’m enjoying this film already!
Red Lights
Red Lights has a bunch of new posters that really make me question reality. Who am I? What is truth? How many Canadians does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Oh, right. Zero. There’s no electricity in Canada. CASE SOLVED PEOPLE. MOVE ALONG.
