The Apparition

The Apparition has a new trailer that I have to admit is better than I thought it would be. Yeah, the scares are pretty basic, but it’s nice to see a film with a slightly different premise than the standard stupid crap we’re fed every day. Basically, the idea is that ghosts and such are created by the human mind. A couple dumbass college kids (I assume college, maybe recent grads) decide to prove that these monsters are real only because we believe they are. And they create a monster that is truly real. I think. It does seem like the monster is kinda a wuss if you can wish it away. Anyways, scary shit happens after that.

I’m going to go lock myself in the bathroom. Tell me when it’s safe to come out.

The Dark Knight Rises

Um…. The Dark Knight Rises has a shit ton of photos/posters today. Seriously. This is ridiculous. I’m impressed, and I’m not easily impressed. Sure, dancing monkeys and Canadians who can count past 8 impress me, but this is at least equally impressive. AT LEAST.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

I’ve been looking forward to Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter for a while now, though my number one reason for anticipating it as awesome is Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who has barely been shown in the trailers at all. She’s just barely seen in this new one too. Which sorta blows, but on the plus side this red band trailer is frickin’ sweet as shit! I am in love with it, and I reserve my love for very few things. This is one of them.
