In the Land of Blood and Honey

In the Land of Blood and Honey has a new poster, and it’s actually pretty cool. Angelina Jolie’s first film as writer and director had a good trailer, and now there’s a good poster? I feel like this isn’t possible. She’s supposed to not have so much talent. Damn.

Detachment

So… Adrien Brody is happy? No. Horny? No. Hmmm… I’m stumped. How do you think Brody feels in this Detachment poster?

Hugo

I’m not sold by these Hugo posters. I’ve heard good things about the Martin Scorsese-directed film, but I don’t feel these posters really give me the MAGIC. Bring the MAGIC, man.

Shame

Shame‘s posters really showcase a particular emotion, but I’m having trouble remembering the word. This is like Detachment, only I’m more a…SHAMEd of this one. Oh, right. It’s horny.

John Carter

I think I saw this scene in Star Wars, and not one of the good ones. John Carter appears to be fighting an overgrown monster from Where the Wild Things Are, or possibly a hairy hippo.

Maybe both. That would be interesting. Maybe Mars is where the wild things are! SNAPDRAGON.

Akira

Apparently the makers of the live action Akira movie don’t want to piss off purists too much, so they’ve offered the role of the general, aka the bad guy, to Ken Watanabe. Purists will prefer the fact that he’s Japanese, because they’re racists. I don’t see colors. I’m like a dog. Color blind.
