Thor
Just a tiny little piece of news, but Jeremy Renner, who rocked the house (whazzup, ma bitches) in The Hurt Locker, and will be playing Hawkeye in The Avengers, will also have a role in the upcoming Thor. It will likely be just a bit of a cameo to help tie the films together, but I am excited to see him as Hawkeye. He’s pretty awesome casting for it.
Water For Elephants
Okay, ladies, who wants to see Robert Pattinson and his big, long, elephant trunk? It is magnificent.

20,000 League Under The Sea
David Fincher, who is likely going to be nominated for The Social Network and is currently directing the English version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, is still planning on making 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea for Disney. And it seems he’ll be making it in 3D. Shocking. At least this is the type of film that 3D works for. If it’s some other world, or magical part of our world, then 3D can be a nice addition. I bet it ends up being 20,000 times better than Avatar. Totally.

New Year’s Eve Resolution
Because of an unexpected, and heartwarming, bit of generosity from one of my many (oddly) Canadian admirers, I will be nice to Canada from now on. I would like to see the betting start at 5 days, up to a year, for how long I can keep it up.
