Movie news for The Wolverine, Iron Man 3, Evil Dead & More!

New pics from The Wolverine, Iron Man 3, and Evil Dead, a poster from Spring Breakers, and a featurette for To The Wonder.

The Wolverine

The Wolverine has a new behind the scenes photo that shows Hugh Jackman has clearly been hitting the gym. Also, he likes steroids. No judgement. Just saying he’s a real beefcake. Also, I’m wondering if he cut down that tree himself, with his claws.

Also, Japan is freaking beautiful. For reals, yo!

Iron Man 3

Iron Man 3 has a bunch of new photos today, and while they don’t show a whole lot, there is a scene of Tony Stark standing next to Rhodey, and Rhodey has a gun, and Stark’s face is a bit messed up, but he’s still smirking at whoever they’re looking at.

And that’s awesome. They’re also really pushing the image of the helmet having a big cut in it. I guess that’ll be important. I’m wondering if at some point in the film Pepper Potts thinks Tony is dead. Maybe she finds the helmet and assumes the worst.

Evil Dead

Evil Dead has a couple new photos today too, but they’re not all that. I mean, they give you a sense of the gore of the film, and that this is definitely going to be a rough film, but I’m not quite feeling the vibe. I think there was just something in Raimi’s versions that was more gleeful and fun, while at the same time being gory. He was having fun making people squirm, while this is about making people sick just to be sadistic.

Spring Breakers

Spring Breakers has a boring as crap new poster. This doesn’t have a single one of the hot babes from the film in a bikini. BORING. COME ON. You have Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson jumping around in their swimsuits and we get a look at their gear? Gimme a break.

To The Wonder

To The Wonder has a new featurette that gives a little insight into director Terrence Malick’s process. It’s really interesting to see how Malick gives his actors ideas on how to play a character, especially considering that they don’t have a formal script. I’m not sure how that works, or what the hell he’s doing, but the film sure looks beautiful, so hopefully it’ll be as awesome as it looks. I can’t imagine what the process is like for the actors.
