Movie news for The Avengers, Snow White, Brave & More!

Featurettes for Snow White and the Huntsman and The Avengers, a film clip from Brave, and trailers for GI Joe: Retaliation and Hotel Transylvannia.

Snow White and the Huntsman

Snow White and the Huntsman has a new featurette that mostly focuses on the ‘Mirror Man.’ That’s the dude in the mirror who tells Charlize Theron’s Evil Queen that she is the fairest of them all, but at some point Kristen Stewart is going to be hotter.

Yeah, not the smartest mirror.

The featurette is pretty cool though, and it shows how director Rupert Sanders is taking various elements from the Snow White fable and twisting it to his vision. I’m really looking forward to this film. And it’s a Kristen Stewart movie. I know. It’s a brave new world.

The Avengers

The Avengers didn’t want to be left out of the featurette club, so there’s a new vid up today that focuses on Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow. To an extent it seems like they’re trying to justify her inclusion on the team, since she’s just a woman.

With a great rack.

But still just a regular human woman. Trained well or not, she isn’t a super soldier, genetic freak of nature, machine man or GOD, so I don’t see how a redhead with guns (double entendre) is going to be much of an asset to a team like The Avengers.

Except for the jugs, which are glorious.

We also have a long video with a short film clip of Captain America, and it’s actually pretty cool. The rest of the video is an interview with Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson in the film.

And FINALLY, we have a one minute TV spot that focuses on Iron Man, and it is freaking awesome as can be. I’m super excited.

Watch Actor-writer-director Clark Gregg on PBS. See more from Tavis Smiley.

I kinda like this new film clip from Brave, though I find it HIGHLY unlikely that a couple kids could pull the bow string back hard enough to fire a child through the air at a pie. I’VE TRIED.

None of the kids I try to fire from my bow EVER hit their target.

Below the clip is the new trailer, which just came online as I was writing this. It looks okay. As in not bad. As in cool. As in Pixar has DONE IT AGAIN.

GI Joe 2: Retaliation

GI Joe 2: Retaliation has a new trailer that’s taught me ONE thing: do not piss off a ninja on a mountain. Or he’ll create an avalanche.

What day of ninja school is that? Day three? Four? Regardless, DON’T PISS OFF THE NINJA.

Another thing I’ve learned is that I sorta hate the Rock, because he’s super charismatic ass has made me actually want to see a GI Joe movie. Jerk.

Hotel Transylvania

My God. The Horror. THE HORROR.

This trailer for Hotel Transylvania really does a good job of making me believe this is a horror film, because I am seriously horrified by it.

What’s that? It’s supposed to be a children’s comedy?

The horror. THE HORROR.

Ladies, Brian is in a committed relationship with a woman who, thankfully, doesn't read Starseeker. It is this reluctance to read his work that keeps their relationship going. God bless America.

  1. The Avengers looks great, but Scarlett Johansson is going to ruin this movie if she’s in it too much. Someone should tell fatty she isn’t an action star, and her looks left her years ago. Stop throwing this idiot in our faces like we are supposed to be impressed by her lumpy body and saggy tits.
