Movie news for The Avengers, Dictator, Brave & More!

A couple videos for The Avengers, Cabin in the Woods, The Dictator and Brave, and casting for The Counselor and Percy Jackson.

The Avengers

I have THREE new videos for The Avengers for you today. The first two are new TV spots, and they each show some sweet new footage of just about all the main heroes. The third video is a film clip shown last night on David Letterman, where Cobie Smulders was a guest. Her clip is sorta… meh.

Cabin in the Woods

There is really something interesting going on in Cabin in the Woods. Today’s film clip shows the cabin having some sort of chemical released that changes the way the characters react to their situation so that they make stupid horror movie decisions, like splitting up. I don’t fully get it, but I think it’s cool.

The Dictator

The Dictator has a new TV spot that shows essentially only two jokes, but they’re really good ones from the latest trailer, so I will allow it.

Here’s a featurette for Brave. You do not need to be Brave to watch it. It shows a bit of the personality of the main character, a girl named Merida. Great. Now stupid parents are going to think that’s a really cute and unique name and start using it. Same thing happened in Canada about 30 years ago and now half the men are named after an American state.

The Counselor

Ridley Scott and Cormac McCarthy’s The Counselor is starting to really get closer to production, as casting continues with the possibility that Angelina Jolie is interested in a smaller part in the film. Let’s hope this part involves boobies. Or booty.

And lips.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Sea of Monsters

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Sea of Monsters has reportedly added super hot blonde Leven Rambin as Clarisse. She’ll probably play a babe, but also one who can kick some booty. BOOTY.

That’s her at the top. Boobs.
