Movie News for Batman, Dark Shadows, The Hunger Games & More!

Super duper important news for The Dark Knight Rises, new pics from Dark Shadows and The Hunger Games, a trailer for Resident Evil, and a teaser/sneak peek at Snow White and the Huntsman.

The Dark Knight Rises

Whew. I think we can all sleep a bit easier now that we know the flying Batmobile thing in The Dark Knight Rises is called… wait for it… “The Bat.”

Okay. Cool. This news broke because of some toy tie-ins are calling it that. It should be noted that there’s a good chance it isn’t even named in the film. They did technically call the Batmobile “The Tumbler” in the first film, but I don’t recall them ever saying the “Bat-Pod” in the second, though that’s what people generally call the motorcycle, so this is sooooo important. But not really.

Dark Shadows

Johnny Depp sorta looks like a poorly rendered CG ghost in this new pic from Dark Shadows. Which, in a way, is kinda cool.

Cause he’s actually a living person.

We think. Dun dun duh!

The Hunger Games

There’s a new photo from The Hunger Games, and if you’re into dominatrixes, then this is totally going to give you a happy dude in your pants.

Cause they’re wearing leather. Oh, yeah.

Resident Evil: Retribution

Honestly, this trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution is sorta terrible, and sorta great. It starts off horrid, but then it gets… well, I like Resident Evil, and I expect very little from the film, so I’m okay with this.

Snow White and the Huntsman

I’m still sorta digging Snow White and the Huntsman. I thought it would be utter garbage, or Twilight except with Snow White instead of vampires, and it looks really cool, with a lot of imagination and cool visuals. It even makes Kristen Stewart look kinda hot. I’d still rather do the evil queen, but she’s not half bad.
