Gamers follows detectives Remy Munro and Margo Davis, who enter into the world of video games to track down a serial killer who reenacts moments from games during his murders.
The film is written by Danny Arroyo who will also star as Remy Munro. Gamers may sound like a ridiculous version of Se7en, which is because it is.
Who’s It For?
I’m betting on mature audiences only. Every decent detective has to visit a strip club at some point, so expect to see that magical stripper who is really into video games. She’ll probably end up dead, but not before we see her naked.

Se7en, Stay Alive.
What’s Good About It?
Writer/Star Danny Arroyo has been saying he’s a big game/comic fan for a while now, so he may really take it serious and have some decent ideas about the genre. It’s not likely, but it is possible.
What’s Bad About It?
The story sounds bland even from a hack Hollywood producer’s perspective.
Our Clever Prediction
Gamers will go darker than any film ever, instead of the killer using mature games to inspire his murders, he uses Super Mario, and jumps on their head until they are dead. Then he switches to Sonic, and attaches a blade to his back and does somersaults all over them. Then, worst of all, he becomes Donkey Kong, and drops barrels on their heads. Admit it, that sounds better than what is probably going to end up in the film.
