Created by best-selling author Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park), the series centers on the medical personnel in the emergency room of a Chicago hospital. Crichton is an executive producer, along with Christopher Chulack, R. Scott Gemmill and David Zabel.

Based more-than-loosely on the behind-the-scenes shenanigans at Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock centers on young comedy writer Liz Lemon.

She’s currently ‘living the dream’ working as the head writer for a live sketch-comedy show in New York. In the highly competitive New York restaurant world, sometimes the stress is enough to kill your appetite, as several teams of chefs are tested in a series of challenges to a shot at the grand prize: opening their very own Manhattan restaurant. Chef Marco Pierre White hosts.

Computer geek Chuck Bartowski opens an e-mail that has been subliminally encoded with vital government secrets, triggering a massive download of critical information into his brain.
