X-Men: Days of Future Past profiles a few more mutants, Batman Vs. Superman has revealed the Bat suit!, C-Tates gets to play Gambit, How to Train Your Dragon 2 has some new videos, Transformers: Age of Extinction teams up with Imagine Dragons, and Lucy has a new international trailer!

X-Men: Days of Future Past

X-Men: Days of Future Past has a couple new videos today, showing the power sets of a couple new mutants. The Magneto one shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s seen the other films, but the Blink one was cool. I don’t know all that much about her from the comics, but she’s a teleporter. Unlike Nightcrawler, she creates portals rather than bouncing around herself. So she can put up a wall of sorts that enemies or friends can go through. Kinda like The Spot (an old Spider-Man villain). She should provide a few cool visuals for the film.

The Magneto one is smart though, as it focuses less on his abilities, and more on where he is as a character in the film. And I think Fassbender will do a good job again with the role.

Batman Vs. Superman

Batman Vs. Superman has revealed what Batman’s costume will look like in the new film! And it looks really good! Very mean and Frank Miller-inspired. The Batmobile also looks solid, though I imagine most of us are focused on Bats himself, and he looks sweet.

Well, not actually sweet. Kinda badass. Actually, very badass. Steroids really work.

X-Men: Apocalypse & Gambit?

So, a few months back Channing Tatum started talking about how he’d love to play Gambit some day in a movie. Well, the filmmakers decided that’s a swell idea, because he has been cast as Gambit in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, which may or may not be directed by Bryan Singer (he’s set to direct, but the allegations surrounding him – which may or may not be true – might make the studio reconsider) comes out in two years, but I’ve heard they’ll want to spin off Gambit for his own film immediately after. Not bad, I guess. But then our other view of Gambit was in the Wolverine film, and that was both horrible, and now forgettable.

How to Train Your Dragon 2

How to Train Your Dragon 2 has two new videos today. The first is a film clip that shows the lead dude being a wimpy lil jerk who doesn’t know who he’s supposed to be, and the second is a featurette that explains a bit about the story and the world of the film, which is set 5 years after the events of the first. They’re both pretty decent, and show some interesting thoughts and clever ideas that the film will – hopefully – exploit. It certainly looks imaginative.

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Transformers: Age of Extinction has a new video that highlights the song Imagine Dragons wrote for the film, and I guess they’ll be doing a live performance in Hong Kong as part of the premiere event. So Michael Bay will probably get his ferrari washed that night (rumor has it he has young starlets audition by washing his ferrari, which everyone figures means polishing his knob. Which means blowjob).

Lucy has a new international trailer that is really cool, with a lot of exposition by Morgan Freeman explaining the story, and it comes across quite well. There are aspects of the story that I really like, such as how someone could essentially become a superhero based on the power of their mind, but it’s basically Limitless, only with less limits. And Scarlett Johansson instead of Bradley Cooper.

So it’s way better.
