And Soon the Darkness is a horror film following two young women bicycling through Argentina when one disappears. The other must fight to survive not only the wilderness, but also the murder on her trail.

Alone. Stranded. No One to Trust.

What a fantastic tag line! Like poetry, only not. Anyways, the two (smoking hot) girls are bicycling through Argentina, which we all do from time to time, and one disappears. Note I said disappears, and not ‘is murdered.’ Meaning I bet she’ll show up later. Maybe she’s in on the whole thing. Like she’s jealous of her friend, and hires some psycho to kill her. Or maybe she’s innocent and her friend just stumbles upon her half eaten, half sodomized body at a later point in the film when it’ll be scarier.

What’s Good About It?

Holy Crap it has Amber Heard and Odette Yustman in it. I am seeing this film. Maybe twice. Maybe thrice. Perhaps fource. Fource? What the…?

Oh, and Karl Urban is turning into one of my favorite actors. He rocked in Star Trek.

What’s Bad About It?

Another remake. This one wasn’t even all that big a film. They have officially run out of good films to remake and are just scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

Our Clever Prediction

If the beautiful ladies show their nobs, big box office. Otherwise, meh. Horror films generally do well considering they cost next to nothing and people seem to like them.
