Edge of Tomorrow bannerizes Emily Blunt, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes a bit late, Jurassic World looks pretty, and The Avengers: Age of Ultron’s stars continue to tease!
Edge of Tomorrow
Edge of Tomorrow has a new banner poster featuring Emily Blunt, and i have to say I’m liking that bit of soot on her face. I’d soot on her face too, if you know what I mean.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has a new TV spot that’s decent, though I still feel like this movie is a day late and a dollar short. I know there are a fair number of returning stars, but it’s been a while. Sure, Jessica Alba is still gorgeous, but she’s had kids and isn’t the hot young actress on the cusp of superstardom (which didn’t actually pan out, but whatever) that she once was, and while I like Joseph Gordon Levitt and Jamie Cheung, the only really solid addition in my opinion is Josh Brolin. Not that he’s a better actor or whatever, but that he seems to fit with the franchise. Oh well, Alba looks hot, and I like black and white films.
Jurassic World has unveiled a few photos for Entertainment Weekly, and they give me a nice dose of nostalgia. Bryce Dallas Howard looks pretty, and there’s something about Jurassic Park, and the spinoffs, that feels like a real, old school Hollywood film, y’know? There’s the clean cut Howard, but no doubt Chris Pratt will be dirtier looking and charming, but they’ll fall in love, and that just works for me. So A+ thus far.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron
The Avengers: Age of Ultron has some new photos from Hulk Mark Ruffalo that show him with Downey, a shot of Scarlett Johansson in her robe, and the movie chairs they all use… I suppose Downey is rather short, though a quick Google search shows that Ruffalo is 5’8″ to Downey’s 5’9″. So it must be an in-joke about how they’re both puny men.
You know who isn’t so short? Edward Norton. 6’0″.
