Woody Allen is truly a directing legend and a world-class screenwriter, actor, comedian, musician and playwright. When you think of Woody Allen, many have the image of a man who was in love with his step-daughter Soon-Yi Previn. {although this is disputable if she really was his step-daughter} At the time, Allen was 56 and Previn was 22.
However, if we are going to look at Allen’s career, it is one that has proven legendary and often genius.
Claim to Fame
Annie Hall won four Academy Awards in 1977, including best picture. While some may dispute his true claim to fame, we pick Annie Hall as his defining moment. Some will argue What’s New Pussycat (1965) was his real moment, so I suppose thats up to the Woody Allen fan to decide in the end.
