A Haunted House 2 is a sequel to this year’s A Haunted House. Basically it’s really easy to churn these suckers out. This time the demons that haunted Marlon Wayons’ first girlfriend, and these are the demons he then exorcised, are still out for his blood. And they’re coming for his new family.
Marlon (CHARACTER NAME UNIMPORTANT) is moving in with a new girlfriend, and her two kids. But the demons are back, and they kill his dog. At least I think so from the trailer. Most likely they’ll put the pooch in a ridiculous cast of some sort so we don’t really see a dog get squished to death.
A Haunted House 2
A Haunted House 2 comes from essentially the exact same creative team behind the first film. Marlon Wayans wrote it again with Rick Alvarez, and Michael Tiddes is directing again. I’m surprised they were even able to finish up the first before working on this one. And when Awards season hit, how are they going to find the time to accept their Oscars?

What’s Good About It?
I don’t totally hate Marlon Wayans. I’m sort of ashamed to admit that though. I do like Gabriel Iglesias, and the film should be a safe enough bet for your little brother, who’s a moron.
What’s Bad About It?
The first one wasn’t exactly a massive box office smash, though to be fair, it was made for next to nothing, and made over $40 million. YEAH. THIS MADE THAT MUCH MONEY.
Our Clever Prediction
A Haunted House 2 will be quite terrible. It will lack any real laughs, but if you’re a fan of Marlon Wayans’ brand of humor, you might benefit from it, as I’m guessing this is really just a test to see if you should be in the looney bin. So you’ll be getting the help you need.
