Our first official look at Guardians of the Galaxy! Alexander the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day looks appalled, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit shows off my favorite reason to see the spy thriller, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 makes Time Square even more of a fan favorite with some epic action!

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians of the Galaxy has released its first official photo, and it shows a lineup of the crew. Chris Pratt looks suitably confused, while Zoe Saldana pulls off hot while green, and of course the raccoon is a badass. I’m going to like this movie.

Alexander the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Alexander the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day has a new movie still that shows the family most likely walking in on something horrendous. It’s probably part of the really bad day thing. So what could it be?

Hmm…

I’ll give a few options:

1- People doing the nasty.
2- A teenage male doing the nasty solo.
3- A dog vomiting
4- An old dead woman
5- A Canadian

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit has a new poster featuring Keira Knightley. It’s actually pretty good. First, it showcases Keira’s beauty in a way that few films do. Second, the look on her face is fairly strained and tense. Layering in the words “Accomplice,” “Asset” and “Weapon” really makes me wonder about her role in the film. She might be the betrayer, or the loyal wife. Cool.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has a short but sweet new trailer that doesn’t really give any story details for the most part, but does have an introduction by Stan Lee and showcases some epic action! I think this sequel is really going to be huge. Maybe not the box office, but the scale and scope of the film looks insane, and that alone should make for a quality opening weekend take at the very least. If director Marc Webb can somehow layer in a decent story we may have something worthwhile on our hands. Just maybe.
