Trance is Danny Boyle’s next film. The film is a remake of a British TV show and follows a art thief who has a job gone wrong (of course) then he gets amnesia and a gang uses a hypnotherapist to get the thief to remember where he put all the goods from the heist.

The film is said to be pretty rough and have a fair bit of sex. SOUNDS GOOD.

I do like when Danny Boyle does something more serious. 127 Hours and Slumdog Millionaire were both good films with a ton of success, but 28 Days Later and Transpotting were so damn cool.

Trance

Like I said, Danny Boyle is directing Trance. He’s a pretty successful dude, with an Oscar for Best Director for Slumdog Millionaire. That’s pretty cool. His screenwriters Joe Ahearne and John Hodge are both pretty good, though Hodge has more experience as he’s the writer of films like The Beach and Transpotting. Cool. Reunion!

What’s Good About It?

Danny Boyle kicks ass pretty much every time, and Trance sounds cool as shit. Add in a good cast led by James McAvoy and you have a definite hit on your hands!

I don’t know if Trance will break any box office records (actually, I know it won’t) but it’ll likely be extremely good and make some damn good money at the box office, so expect great things. I can’t wait for a trailer!
