The Grand Budapest Hotel is Wes Anderson’s next film, set to star Johnny Depp!
There is literally almost NO other info on The Grand Budapest Hotel. There are some other possible casting choices, with likely true rumors of Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Jude Law and Angela Lansbury all taking a part in the film. No word if the rest are true, but Depp is confirmed.
I can also say the film will probably be really quirky, have a lot of heart, and probably not be half bad.

Wes Anderson is both writer and director for The Grand Budapest Hotel. I’ve read Anderson wrote the screenplay with a non-industry friend, but I have no clue about who that could be. For those who don’t know, Wes Anderson is the writer/director of Moonrise Kingdom, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and other films that cool girl you can’t keep up with really likes.

What’s Good About It?
Wes Anderson is fantastic, and his films usually have a surprising amount of heart and humor. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I see them.
What’s Bad About It?
Anderson can also get old and a bit grating at a certain point.
Our Clever Prediction
Moonrise Kingdom had a great cast, but the main characters were essentially unknown kids, and it has done pretty darn good business. The Grand Budapest Hotel might actually have problems underperforming considering it has Johnny Depp in it. Anderson is, in my opinion, fairly limited in terms of his commercial potential. People are going to think Depp will bring in massive audiences. While I think this will do very well, especially for a Wes Anderson film, I don’t think it’ll do terribly well for a Johnny Depp film.
