Narco Sub is a new action film about the submarines used by South American drug cartels to smuggle drugs n’ such into the US.

Obviously, the US doesn’t like having drugs enter the country, and have spent billions on keeping the bad guys from getting drugs into the US, so the cartels have used their vast resources to develop new methods of smuggling in drugs. Enter submarines that can transport several tons of cocaine or other drugs in a single trip. That’s a lot of drugs!

There’s not a lot of info on the plot of the film, but it’s about US government officials trying to stop these drugs. Expect guns being fired underwater. Cause that’s always a good idea.

Narco Sub

Narco Sub is somewhat up in the air at present. It’s being written by David Guggenheim, who wrote Safe House and Stolen, but it was being produced by Tony Scott, who recently passed away, by jumping off a bridge… maybe he was diving for Narco Subs!

Yeah, I’m sorry. Anyways, with Scott dead it’s not clear if Narco Sub is still being made.

What’s Good About It?

The concept could be good, and Safe House was pretty good, but Stolen was a Nic Cage turdfest, so who’s to say what will come from Narco Sub?

What’s Bad About It?

This has B Movie turd written all over it.

Our Clever Prediction

I don’t expect Narco Sub to be very good. I think the premise is decent, but the title is totally B-movie, and reeks of a sub par film. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m usually abnormally super smart.
