A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth film in the Die Hard franchise, and this time John McClane leaves the states to take on evil doers in Russia.
I’m wholeheartedly in favor of this, though I was a bigger fan of his extreme violence at the end of Die Hard with a Vengeance, since that was in Canada.
And screw Canada. Am I right?
There aren’t a ton of plot details for the latest Die Hard, but let’s be honest, if there were more than 4 details we’d have the entire story. What we DO know is that John McClane’s son Jack will have a big part in the film, and his son is just as tough as his dad.
Yeah, right.
What blows ass is that they’re not bringing back Mary Elizabeth Winstead as his daughter. I’M CALLING FOR A BOYCOTT.
Do you think someone once called for a boycott and got a boy in a cot? That would be weird.
Maybe in Greece…
A Good Day to Die Hard
A Good Day to Die Hard is being directed by John Moore, who directed Max Payne. That’s right, the studios found a way to do worse than Len Wiseman. Bravo.

What’s Good About It?
It’s John McClane. Don’t ask such stupid questions.
What’s Bad About It?
It’s the FIFTH John McClane film. Nope. That’s still a good thing.
Our Clever Prediction
I expect the box office numbers from Die Hard films are going down with each film. Sure, the latest may make the most total, but adjusted for inflation and the insane price tag of the films and I bet it’s not nearly as profitable as the first film.
