The Divide is a post-apocalyptic film about survivors who band together after a nuclear blast and have to try to split up supplies and try to keep living.
Basically, there are a group of people who are trying their best to stay alive, but they don’t trust each other. It’s not complicated. But it’ll be stupid.
Xavier Gens, the director of Hitman (as the trailer foolishly reminds us), is at the helm of this sucker, and it was written by Karl Mueller and Eron Sheean, neither of whom has much real experience. This is going to be awesome.
But in a “hey look! That train is about to crash!” kinda way.

The main character, Lauren German, is pretty hot. Why am I focusing on the physical attractiveness of the actress (other than the usual reason)? See below.
The Divide looks like a turd. I don’t want to see it. “The director of Hitman?” How about the director of a piece of shit? Sell the film based on that.
I don’t think anyone is going to see The Divide. And that includes Canadians, and those morons will see anything. Green Lantern was considered a good film north of the border. Dummies.
