The Avengers Movie, coming in 2012, is setting out to be the biggest, most expensive superhero movie ever made. Details are rolling out as shooting is about to being in early 2011.
The plot is a little thin right now, but the upcoming Avengers Movie is showcasing all the superheros in one movie. Not all the superhero’s are in the movie all at once, some are just cameo appearances such as Hulk. However, Iron Man should have a main role in the movie, as Iron Man 3 is a sequel to The Avengers.
Still, you can count on seeing lots of Captain America (ugh, that blows) , Black Widow, Hawkeye, Thor and War Machine. Nick Fury will have a main role in the film as well, but he is getting his own movie later in 2012, so they won’t give him too much screen time.
Rumor has it the story is based around the Avengers fighting some alien race called ‘The Skrulls’ although this isn’t 100% confirmed yet. Here’s more info on The Skrulls from Marvel :
The Skrulls are an extraterrestrial humanoid race who have created a vast interstellar empire, the oldest known empire still in existence, within the Andromeda Galaxy.. A Skrull can mentally cause the unstable molecules that comprise his or her body to become pliant, enabling him or her to assume other forms through muscular expansion and contraction.

What’s Good About It?
A collection of superheros this big should be wonderful, right? I mean, how much more do you want in a movie?
What’s Bad About It?
What if The Avengers is so poorly written, like Spider-Man 3? Seriously, what if they make it like the last Spider-Man movie, and its a love story?
Our Clever Prediction
I’m not judging it yet, but The Avengers will probably be huge, but does that mean it will be good?
