Seven Psychopaths is about a struggling screenwriter who is drawn into a friend’s plot to kidnap a dog. *Sigh, so many romances start just this way. It’s sorta a cliché at this point.
There aren’t a whole lot of details at present, but Colin Farrell is playing the screenwriter, his buddies are Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell, and the dog’s owner is Mickey Rourke, who is also a gangster. Not a single part of that doesn’t sound awesome.
Seven Psychopaths
Seven Psychopaths is being written and directed by Martin McDonagh, who directed Colin Farrell in In Bruges (that’s a funny sentence), and he just made The Guard, which had Farrell’s In Bruges costar Brendan Gleeson. I’ve yet to see The Guard, but it looked really good, and In Bruges was a surprising good film, so I have a lot of high hopes for Seven Psychopaths.
I almost wrote ‘high hoes.’ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Cause most prostitutes are also addicts.

What’s Good About It?
Honestly, everything about Seven Psychopaths looks good right now. I’d only like them to add me as the gaffer. I gaff like a crazy.
What’s Bad About It?
Seven Psychopaths may disappoint me by not being the single greatest film ever made. That would be a shame.
Our Clever Prediction
I doubt Seven Psychopaths will make much money, but I do think it’ll do decently well. The cast is solid, and Farrell has Total Recall coming out soon, which should make him a bit more bankable star, so Seven Psychopaths may get a better promotional push.
