Resident Evil: Retribution (2012)

Resident Evil: Retribution continues the Resident Evil series, with no doubt a number of new, though oddly entertaining, crazy plot twists. Details are scarce at present, but expect to see monsters, zombies, and maybe Milla Jovovich’s naked body. I’m pumped for a new Resident Evil Movie, the last one was good enough to warrant this new addition.

I’m going to speculate a bit here, but while the details on the plot are limited, casting does give a few clues. First, Michelle Rodriguez’s sexy ass is back, and since she turned into a zombie in the first film and was subsequently killed by Milla Jovovich’s Alice, I’m thinking either reincarnation, cloning, or possibly flashbacks are in store. Honestly, given the series’s penchant for crazy shit, it could be a combination of all three.

Sienna Guillory is back as Jill Valentine, and as her part in the last film was essentially a cameo revealing her to be a bad guy at the end, I’m guessing she’ll be a bad guy here too. Fine with me. I hope she’s naked too. And Michelle Rodriguez. And me. I’ll be in it. I’ll be the meat in their sexy sandwich.

Resident Evil: Retribution

Yet again, Paul W.S. Anderson will be directing Resident Evil. He just had The Three Musketeers come out, and that looked like a fantastically fun turd of a film, so expect more of that. Resident Evil: Retribution will be in 3D, and will likely have some awesome zombies and slow mo stuff coming right at you!

Who’s In It?

The new Resident Evil Movie stars : Milla Jovovich ,  Kevin Durand ,  Michelle Rodriguez ,  Sienna Guillory

What’s Good About It?

As stupid as they are, the Resident Evil series has always been a lot of fun. There are zombies, over the top action, and surprising action shots.

What’s Bad About It?

Well, the films are stupid, and I don’t think we got naked Milla last time. SHAME ON YOU.

Our Clever Prediction

The last Resident Evil, which was the 4th in the series (I think), made over $70 million in it’s first weekend, and did very well overall, so I expect some good money to come into Anderson’s and Jovovich’s pocketbooks.

I assume rich people don’t have bank accounts, but just big pocketbooks.
