REPLY TO SHOOTER:

This is a chance for kids to connect to WW2 history even if it is peripheral. The fact that many young kids do not know their history is all the more reason to show them a glimpse of it through a medium they understand: comics, movies, tv. Perhaps it will encourage them to investigate history further and in more detail. Kids are curious by nature. It is only a matter of how the information is presented to them. A good story will connect the viewer to anything -- even a movie about a rock and a feather.

Do not place your values upon youth. There is more to the world beyond your own scope.
