King of Heists is the true story of George Leonidas Leslie, one of America’s greatest robbers. He’s way cooler than Canada’s greatest robber. The hamburgler. ZING!

Leslie was robbing banks n’ such back in the 1800s, and he was pretty badass at it. In 1878 he masterminded the theft of about $3 million. In today’s money that’s like $800 Gajillion. That’s so much money!

Even more awesome is that Leslie was sorta a Batman type, as he was a mild mannered gentleman to the public, but secretly put together robbin’ gangs.

The King of Heists is based on the book by J. North Conway, and the screenplay will be written by Will Staples. There’s no directed attached as of yet.
