John Dies at the End is going to have a really surprising ending. The story is about two losers who try to save the world from a new drug. The drug gives people out of body experiences, but sometimes the person who comes back isn’t the one who left…

Holy crap! I take this drug! It’s called alcohol, and I shouldn’t be held accountable for the things I do and say.

Anyways, the two loser buddies are John and David, and they start to see things that haven’t happened yet, or are happening somewhere else, and they try to save the world. Happens all the time.

Don Coscarelli wrote and directed John Dies at the End. He’s directed a bunch of B-Movies, like Phantasm and Bubba Ho-Tep, so expect cheesy, funny horror to abound.

What’s Good About It?

Did Paul Giamatti lose a bet? Why is he in this? Well, he does add a lot of class to the film, and I like B Movie horror like John Dies at the End. The trailer looks cool.

What’s Bad About It?

There aren’t a lot of big names attached besides Giamatti.

Our Clever Prediction

I doubt John Dies at the End will make much money. I see it becoming a cult classic though. The director has the B Movie cred to get that crowd excited. Could be cool.
