Hotel Transylvania (2012)

Hotel Transylvania is an animated film about classic monsters such as Dracula, Frankensteins’ monster, the Mummy and more who live in a hotel on the outskirts of Transylvania.

Dracula runs the resort, but he and the other monsters are sorta depressed because they don’t seem to matter anymore because of modern advances in entertainment.

A boy shows up one day and falls for Dracula’s teenaged daughter. This makes Dracula extremely protective, and hilarity must, of course, ensue.

Hotel Transylvania

Hotel Transylvania is being directed by Genndy Tertakovsky, who, in addition to his sweet name, has experience as a storyboard artist on films like Iron Man 2 and the Star Wars Clone Wars TV show. David I. Stern came up with the story.

Our Clever Prediction

Hotel Transylvania isn’t a Pixar movie, so it won’t print money, but it comes out in September, and there should be some need for a safe kid’s movie around that time. It should do okay, though nothing special.
