Headshot is a new crime thriller about a hit man who is shot in the head and the resulting brain injury causes him to see the world upside down.
First, you have to check out the trailer for this Thai crime film. It is absolutely badass. I’m crazy excited for this film.
The main character is an ex-cop who has become an assassin. He’s good. Oh, he’s very good. He’s willing to shave his head to impersonate a monk and everything! But on one job he makes a mistake and gets shot in the head. When he wakes up in the hospital all images are inverted. That must suck.
But do you think that makes him less of a badass? Do you think he acts like a little weiny? HELLS NO!!!!
He still beats up 50 dudes at once and shoots bullets n’ stuff. And he does all this without the ability to watch a basketball game BECAUSE THE DRIBBLING IS WRONG.
I don’t think he actually watches basketball in the film, but that’s how I’d show the challenges he faces.

Headshot comes from Pen-Ek Ratanaruag, who is mostly an artsy director out of Thailand. One of his films is called 6ixtynin9. HAHAHAHA. Stupid.
Still the trailer looks badder than badass.

Headshot is out in some areas, but I think it comes out in the states in the fall of 2012.

What’s Good About It?
The trailer for Headshot is one of the best I’ve seen in a hell of a long time. The action looks cool, the camerawork is outstanding, and it’s an interesting idea.
What’s Bad About It?
It’s a Thai film. It might turn out the male lead is a chick.
Our Clever Prediction
I don’t think Headshot is going to be a huge film, but I suspect it’ll be a cult classic that film nerds will talk about to make themselves look smart.
I am going to look SOOOOO smart!
