Flight is a new drama from Robert Zemeckis, starring Denzel Washington as a heroic airline pilot who may have been drunk during his moment of heroism.
Whip, the pilot, is quite special. The plane he was piloting failed, and it would have gone down if anyone else had been piloting it. But it wasn’t anyone else. He did some truly harrowing shit to get that plane down, including flipping the plane upside down. He saved some lives. Actually, not some. Quite a darn few.
But he’d been drinking the night before. If a pilot is drunk during a flight, he can face life in prison. Whoops. Now what?
Heroic pilot. Drunk pilot.
This could be a drinking game! I yell out a pilot’s name and if it’s a heroic pilot, you drink!! If it’s a drunk pilot, you drink twice!! All pilots are one or the other!
Amelia Earhart! That’s 400 hundred drinks!
Flight
Robert Zemeckis is the director for Flight, or you might say he’s… piloting… this film.
AND HE’S PROBABLY DRUNK WHILE DOING IT!!!!!!
Zemeckis is essentially a badass. He could be drunker than shit and still make good films. Forest Gump. Back to the Future. Beowulf.
Okay, for that last one he was clearly super duper drunk.

What’s Good About It?
If I had a slight problem with Flight, I would be in a plight to tell you what it is. I could shed some light on the issue, but that would be a blight on my otherwise perfect record. I might consider it, but I’d rather keep my lips sealed tight. A’ight?
SNAPDRAGON.
What’s Bad About It?
I get a bit tired of films that are so clearly ripped from the headlines. This isn’t Law & Order.
Our Clever Prediction
I think Flight could be a big hit, especially with it being released during award season, but at the same time it’s so clearly Oscar-bait that it may very well turn out to be a commercial and critical flop. If you see this my way, you clearly have good…
sight. SHAZAM!!!!!
