Celeste and Jesse Forever is a romantic comedy/drama about a married couple going through a divorce while trying to remain friends.
Celeste and Jesse are super close, and they’ve always known each other really well, but for some reason their marriage just didn’t work. Celeste is a go-getter and doing well with her life while Jesse is unemployed and unmotivated. She thinks breaking up will help him get on with his life and her as well, and if they do it at this point they can still be buddies.
She realizes she’s made a mistake and he’s seeing someone else.

Celeste and Jesse Forever is being directed by Lee Toland Krieger, but that’s boring. What’s interesting is that Rashida Jones actually cowrote the script! My sweet, beautiful Ann if finally doing something with her life. This also explains why her character is supposed to be 30. Cause she’s 36. Yeah.

Celeste and Jesse Forever looks sweet enough, though I hope they don’t get back together at the end because Celeste threw away true love and deserves to be unhappy because of it.
