Better Living Through Chemistry is essentially about how women are evil and will ruin your life. A small town pharmacist leads an uneventful life and has a loveless marriage, but things get crazy when he has an affair with a trophy wife.
The first thing she does is get him to commit adultery, but through her he also learns the joys of taking prescription drugs for purposes other than prescribed! Dastardly woman!
So first adultery, then taking drugs. It gets worse.
Then this she-devil tries to get her new man to kill her husband. I don’t actually know if he does it, but she has now also tried to get him to commit murder.
Women be crazy. And evil.
Evil and crazy. Look up yo’ mamma in the dictionary and you’ll see that as the definition.
Better Living Through Chemistry
This public service announcement of a film is being written and directed by Geoff Moore and David Posamentier. This is their first film, although Mr. Posamentier was the assistant to Zach Braff on Garden State, so he’s clearly an old pro.

What’s Good About It?
I really like Sam Rockwell, and Olivia Wilde is about the most beautiful creature to ever walk the earth, even if she does come across as a monstrous bitch.
What’s Bad About It?
I don’t trust the writers/directors for Better Living Through Chemistry. And they’re the dudes steering the boat. If you don’t trust them, you’re fucked.
Our Clever Prediction
Sam Rockwell is great, but he’s not exactly box office gold. I expect this to be a mild success, and I’ve heard (through the grapevine that is the interwebs) that the screenplay is pretty darn good. It’d have to be to get the cast for these unknown directors. Cross your fingers, and hope there’s a lot of nudity.
