Those of us 30 and over remember Battleship as one of our favorite games. Well guess what, director Peter Berg is making it into a blockbuster film and Liam Neeson is headlining.

The Battleship Movie is going to focused around an alien attack on earth, which quite frankly.. is getting old. However, in 2012, the aliens, called The Regents, come here looking for something, we aren’t exactly clear on what till the end.
Our guess? Probably water, or our women. Considering Rihanna is in the movie, maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll take our women. Then again, Aliens never come to earth for anything else rather than our water….hmmm.

This fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals. Liam Neeson plays Admiral Shane, he’s in charge of saving the earth from the Aliens. Good thing Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna are around to help him out.

If you loved the game Battleship, and you love aliens, then Battleship could be for you. Then again, I’m getting tired of alien encounters so… could the Battleship movie do it any differently to please my taste?

Rihanna? Yes, we have no idea why. We know she can take a punch in real life, so maybe her acting won’t be that bad.

Even with the new trailer this movie looks terrible.
I was in the movie. It was fun, we just stood there for a few hours. I can’t wait to see it.

Looks like I’m not the only one looking around for this movie. Also in the Navy, and they came onboard to film a little. Will be interesting to see what comes of it. Our ship was also in the movie Transformers.
