Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is an upcoming 2102 movie based on an unlikely, but interesting story. Check this out : Abe Lincoln is forced to be a Vampire hunter after a family tragedy breaks out.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (

The Vampire Hunter movie is the adaptation of the Seth Graham-Smith novel. It goes something like this :

One day Abraham Lincoln is shocked to discover that his mother has been murdered. The situation only gets worse, as Abe (The then president of the United States) soon discovers that his lovely mother has been murdered by a creature thought to be only of mythical nature, a Vampire. A VAMPIRE!

This doesn’t bode well for the local vampire population, or their owners,as Abraham Lincoln evolves into a Vampire Hunter which fuels his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers.

Movie Release Date

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be coming to theaters in 2012.

Who’s In It?

Benjamin Walker has signed on to play Abraham Lincoln.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead… Mary Todd

What’s Good About It?

I guess people still care about Vampires, and the fascination with Abraham Lincoln is still large. So mixing the two together should be instant success, right?

What’s Bad About It?

Well, I’m sort of vampired out right now, so maybe by 2012 I will be ready for more. Director Timur Bekmambetov has some decent films under his directing belt, but I thought he missed the boat with Wanted. Can he bring fresh life in the Vampire genre?

Our Clever Prediction

Uncertain.

I’m not one to read and then see the movie, but I found out about the movie after I finished the book. It definitely has potential. I’m a little sick of the vampire thing too, but the mythology is just so damn interesting. I hope it’s along the lines of Bram Stroker’s Dracula or Interview With A Vampire. I just want something that isn’t stupid bubblegum crap like Hollywood likes to put out (cough, Twilight).
