360 is a drama about sexual relationships of people with very different backgrounds. Like a Canadian and a human being.
ZING!
There are a number of different relationships all being woven together in 360, from a married man considering sleeping with a prostitute to a woman breaking up with her younger lover. A older man searches for his daughter and a sex offender gets out of prison.
Odd fact: Dudley “Booger” Dawson has split personalities, and each and everyone of the characters in this film lives in his head. The sex offender offended the old man in his brain. CRAZY.
360
360 was written by Peter Morgan and directed by Fernando Meirelles. Meirelles directed the very cool looking movie Blind (which I still need to watch) and The Constant Gardner, which also starred Rachel Weisz, so he clearly likes her. And why not? She’s a babe.
The film was shot on location in some awesome places, from Paris and Vienna to London and Rio de Janeiro.

What’s Good About It?
360 has an incredible cast, from Anthony Hopkins and Jude Law to Ben Foster and Rachel Weisz, so at the very least the performances should be top notch.
What’s Bad About It?
I don’t always love these artsy films about relationships. Sometimes they work, but more often than not they’re depressing because that’s what the filmmakers equate with quality.
Our Clever Prediction
360 is only getting a limited release, though this cast might propel it to a wider release at some point. I don’t anticipate big box office numbers and it’s being released a bit early for award season, but they might get some good reviews and award love by avoiding being swallowed by the competition. It could happen.
