21 Jump Street is a film adaptation of the classic (?) TV show from the 80′s that launched the career of Johnny Depp. Recently, a couple of big stars have joined the film.
The new 21 Jump Street remakes is currently being kept under wraps, but the TV show was about a group of young police officers who go undercover with local youths to root out crime. We expect the plot to remain the same, but you know Hollywood will whore it up with drugs, violence, black youth gangs and rap music somehow.

The Remake
Phil Lord and Chris Miller will be directing a screenplay by about nine different guys, which really means that the studios are hiring anyone who wants to take a crack at the story to making something even remotely film worthy. Only Jonah Hill has been announced to be in the cast What a premise. {Channing Tatum is indeed co-starring alongside Hill}. but even that seems like it’s more a rumor than for sure right now. It appears they’ll just be making fun of the original than really trying to make it seriously.
Which is probably for the best.
Who’s It For?
No rating, but probably the same morons who flocked to Starsky & Hutch. Was this you? Listen, 21 Jump Street was good back in the day, but a big reason was the huge Canadian following, since it was filmed in Vancouver. That was a big deal back then, not so much anymore.

What’s Good About It?
I guess a parody of 21 Jump Street could be funny, but I’m not totally sold.

This could end up being really stupid, like every other TV remake.

Our Clever Prediction
Part of me just doesn’t believe this will get made. I know Jonah Hill has come a long ways in the last few years toward being a star, but if he’s the lead, he’ll need another Superbad before they give him 21 Jump Street. I’m guessing the shine wears off him before this gets past preproduction and never gets made.

Idk where it’s really going to be filmed but some directors have been looking at my high school( Destrehan high in Destrehan ) and a few other schools and I keep hearing channing tatum and Johnny Depp will be staring in it. I did some reaserch and 21 jump street is the closest thing I can find. I’m not sure about this but that’s all iv got.
Will it be filmed in Vancouver, like the original? BTW Greico was a superstar.
