I am a huge fan of the Riddick series. I think Riddick is a great character, because he is neither good nor evil, he just does what he wants. A man not bound by morality, something many of us would wish to be, if there of course no consequences. Most Series I would not be happy to see another sequel, for fear of it ruining the franchise, the way Riddick has played out so far tells me that a sequel could work out. What I have scene in the series is a character/storyline development separate from other parts of the story, yet together they fit together perfectly. I was even happy with Butcher Bay, and I do not like any other Movie based games (well not to this extend at least). It has it’s own story which developed separately from the films. Because of these things I think the film will turn out well, however like all sequels it could poss disaster.

I am a true sci fi fan and Riddick has been the favorite of mine for a long time. It was written as a 3 part saga and I hope they do the third on in the near future. I was hoping Battlefield Earth was going to make the big screen and when I saw it I was extremely disappointed. I think James Cameron should have made the film. I will be happy to see Riddick on the screen once again.
