Time to give Halo a new update and figure out what is going on with the movie release.
Halo: The Fall of Reach
Yes, the official title appears to be
Halo: The Fall of Reach
. It is currently being filmed in Camperdown Studios, Camperdown Road, Miramar, Wellington, New Zealand .
After they crash-land on an artificial ring-world called “Halo”, a navy captain, his surviving marines, and a chemically-and-surgically-enhanced supersoldier named John-117 “Master Chief” must find out what the Covenant, the genocidal alien race they are at war with, are looking for on the ring.
However, Halo holds more secrets than either side imagined.
Release Date
Apparently Halo will be made into a movie somewhere between 2010-2011, and Peter Jackson will be in charge. In July 2008, Fox purchased the filming rights after the project was halted in 2006 because finances were cut.
I’ve scoured dozens of sources, some legit..some probably not and it does appear Halo should be released earlier than 2012, as previously thought.

I can’t dig up who is in the movie as of yet, this seems to be a very hush hush project.

There will be a halo film in the near future there just taking their time so they get it right instead of rushing it and becoming a flop i think when it does come out it will be the biggest blockbuster of all time.
The movie is a fact, but the movie is going to be about Halo 3…
the film is said to come out in 2012 and no its not going to be halo 3 it,s going to be halo wars the film is going to be called halo reach after the release of the halo reach after odst i think it,s going to be good
if halo 3 would be the film i wont see it cause im not much surprised of halo 3 i would like if halo 1 and 2 would be the film if it was it would be as long as the god father that would be great

Ok the title Fall of Reach its a book…the first book in Halo Genius’s so if its gonna be made pretty sure its gonna be about the book Halo: Fall of reach….

With Peter Jackson running the show, The Hobbit will be incredible.

Dudes, halo movie would b awesom, i would totaly sit and waych like a 3-4 hour halo movie. it would b sic if the movie startde with that dramatic moaning song thats in most of the halo games.

The Halo is in production,but Peter Jackson dropped the movie for district 9.I’ve also done some research, From what i looked up Dreamworks may own the rights to the movie.I also know that Steven Spielberg has picked up the project and may be working on it with Michael Bay. That is all I know for now.

lol trading one bad director for another…. and lol great we’ll have a halo comedy movie thanks to dreamworks…. but i heard that steven speilberg had interest in it too and that would be pretty bad-a if he made it…. but poor michael bay could ruin the show…. and i thought that was BS that peter jackson dropped halo for district 9…. it was ok but nothing great

Steven Spielsberg is a superb producer and director. And Michael Bay is considered one of the best directors of the decade also. So expect one of the best movies you have ever seen.
finally a superd halo movie
Hey, did anyone see that short clip that discovery channel made, i was really suprized. I hope its good, we have way to many really bad movies based off of games.
LOL love the people who say there will be no movie. There will be a movie just from the halo fans alone they will make tons of money. It would be stupid not to make it sadly only reason it aint in full production right now is because everyone is busy fighting on who gets to make all da money
I think the best film would be based on the book fall of reach. and i think peter jacksons directing style would fit halo perfectly.

the games r badass so the movie will b badass 2, so they should just say:the hell with it and pick a director & make the f**king movie already!…thanks 4 reading
