What’s Good About It?

The series is still much beloved and has great potential for film. This film will follow Dragonball Z rather than the original series, and Z is widely considered the best of the series.

What’s Bad About It?

Did you see the first one? It was like headbutting a cactus. The film was ridiculous, had terrible acting, pacing, and worst of all, the action was stupid.

Our Clever Prediction

I loved this show for years and years. The first film felt like a big slap in the face. I have very little hope for this one, but I’m still hoping that it will turn out decent. The show has such potential.

@ Reville Hannibal, It couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that you’ve got grown men screaming to the top of their lungs to “power up”, and the ridiculous notion that human-like race with tails magically turns into a huge ape at the sign of the moon. Mix in guys with 3 eyes, midgets that look like stuffed toys, people that look like animals, and bad guys that change into different “forms” to be “tougher”, it’s all just completely ludicrous at the least. I don’t have a clue how the FIRST one made it passed script…

    Revile Hannibal,

Also to add to this, The Matrix REvolutions’ End fight with Neo vs Smith, is a great example of how DBZ would look on one of the more lousy fights, that alone shows u how epic the fights could be.

Yeah that movie was just sad…. DB and DBZ are so easy to make awsome, arguably easier than any of the Spiderman and company movies they make now. Its cause for some reason American movie makers hate Japanese Anime and love men in tights who save the city from over the top retarded looking villains. When Goku used his Kamehameha move to heal his friend or himself or whatever I think my heart literally 12 gauged itself. I saw the originial live action Dragonball movie, and sadly it was better than this Evolution wanna be. If they make a sequel it better not have anything to do with the last movie… Dragonball has taken enough beatings as is, with the film industry. I say do it right, or keep it to yourself. And if anyone thinks it wouldnt be easy to make a DBZ movie, look at Hancock or X-men, or Iron man. They could easily make a vicious DBZ movie, you just need the right person/company working on it and money.
