Chris Evans will play Steve Rogers (Captain America). You know Chris from the Fantastic 4 movies as the Human Torch/Johnny Storm.
Although the film is over a year away, and production hasn’t even started, it appears we have a little information now. Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Ryan McPartlin (Chuck), Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) and other unknowns/television actors reading for the Captain America Movie are true.
We have also learned that Red Skull is the villain in the movie and is going to be played by Hugo Weaving.

I’m skeptical about creating a huge audience for Captain America, it has so much potential to do poorly. Kids are spoiled with incredible effects for their childhood comic characters, what can a Captain America Movie deliver for them?

Captain America : The First Avenger is going to suck, and I’m sorry to break it to you first.
I have nothing against Chris Evans, but I don’t think he would be a good choice as the Cap. I mean come on, he played better as the Human Torch. Always playing pranks on the Thing. It would be nice to see one of the WWE superstars play as the First Avenger, like John Cena. He has the soldier look.
