Arena is the latest example of how Samuel L. Jackson will do anything. It’s about a futuristic world where people fight to the death on TV, and the public votes on if they live or die. Kinda like The Hunger Games, but stupider.

I know stupider isn’t word, although my spellcheck doesn’t, so I’m gonna use it.

My god, I just noticed Arena is supposed to be a star maker for Kellan Lutz from Twilight. Ugh.

This ripoff of The Hunger Games, Gamer, and 300 is being directed by Jonah Loop, who mainly has done work as a Visual Effects Supervisor, which is probably why it looks so bad. Seriously, Samuel L. Jackson isn’t that bad an actor, but this is the worst trailer I’ve ever seen.
