The Scoop
The film is the latest by Woody Allen, who hasn’t had a hit in about thirty years, but had such good films once upon a time that people will still see his latest. Okay, so Vicky Christina Barcelona wasn’t half bad, but that was mostly because of the hotness of Scarlett Johannsen and Penelope Cruz. Otherwise, not much for hits.

What’s Good About It?
Woody Allen is a talented guy, even outside of comedy. He has a nice style and can directed in a way that’s both light and weighty at the same time. It’s refreshing.
What’s Bad About It?
I feel like he’s already made this film. Even if it’s a completely different story from some of his latest films, it still looks just like them. Plus, it looks really European. Never a good thing.
Our Clever Prediction
Box office dud, but there is some potential for awards, as the Academy seems to love Wood. I mean Woody.
I meant wood.
Plus, Freida Pinto!
