True Grit is a remake of the classic John Wayne cowboy film, in which a young girl seeks to avenge her father’s death at the hands of a hired hand. She hires a marshal to help her hunt her father’s killer

The film is directed by the Coen Brothers, so it’ll win my prize for best film of the year. My prize involves saying a few months before it releases that it will be good. It’s quite sought after. Jeff Bridges will take over for John Wayne, which I’ll accept. The film will reconnect the Coen Brothers with No Country for Old Men star Josh Brolin, who plays a really good cowboy. Didn’t you see Jonah Hex?
