Have you seen the movie? Or just the trailer? I thought she doesn't sing in this movie, though two of the backround songs from the movie soundtrack are hers. I'm also not sure what you mean by her movies not doing that great at the box office. Both of them broke records which still stand. My standard is that a movie is doing very well if it wins the weekend, so the top 52 movies of each year automatically get my respect. Not only was Miley's last movie #40 domestically, it was #40 internationally, which means Miley is a worldwide box office draw.
