Interesting Fact
This film is based on a True Story. William Pitsenbarger who was an Air Force Pararescueman. He was originally awarded the Air Force Cross posthumously. In December of 2000 he was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor after a Congressional Investigation. I was actually there when his parents received the medal on his behalf. It was very inspirational.
