Another sequel for the Predator franchise, which is going to be released for summer 2010. Director Nimród Antal has began shooting in Hawaii for the new Predator movie. Ok, I admit it…. this official trailer looks not bad. Although I don’t hold a lot of faith in the film, it looks better than I thought.

Adrien Brody is fairly sure the film will not be converted into 3D, although he wouldn’t be against it. Wait, what? Will the new Predators movie be in 3D , or not? We’ll let you know.

I am tired of shitty remakes, hollywood has stopped the creative flow of Sci-fi and Horror films.
The 80′s were full of fun horror and sci-fi films, but the last 10 years they keep remaking and trying to capture a moment that is long gone.
Don’t you think its time to come up with new Aliens and Predators, and stop recycling these old ideas?

1. Did you see the last Predator film? It was horrible. The reason the first film was excellent was because it was original. The last one was a sorry excuse for a film.

Ok what is the big damn deal, All the movies were very good, maybe except Predator 2, sorry did not like the fact the star of the movie beat the predator by pure luck. Both AVPs were very good the second was even better. Nothing is wrong with making remakes all directors do it. It for the new genre, so quit being so damn harsh about the movie Predators. And I have a huge feeling this movie will be very good if it is done right. First two predator movies were good, first AvP movie wasn’t completely a waste, second AvP movie ruined everything. From what I’ve heard of this sequel of a movie that already has a sequel with a sequel to another sequel, the hole god damn movie is going to destroy to franchise with the storyline and setting, but hell it’s going to make money. That’s why they’re making it i nthe first place.
It is a money maker, so i don’t see a problem with using a really good idea again and again. Some people like to watch and are interested in the development of the predators. However i do think that the directors of the movies do not give them justice.
Bring in better directors and cleaner plots.
Ok the guy who wrote this article is a jackass, with that being said the Alien and predator movies will always be the best, respectively of course(although I’ll admit AvP 1 was decent but 2 sucked ass) and it’s about time they made a next Predator movie because the Alien series had four movies and Predator only had 2! And for the record AvP only sucks when they turn it into a movie the comics are way better. That will be all.

Haha, i laughed when the reviewer made fun of the director’s name. Nimrod is a bible based name from the middle east, shows what kind of education you need these days to write something in the net.But anyways, personally i would like to see these movies, though it may seem recycled, i do like the idea that the humans will actually show some skill and not just be utterly slaughtered and round up like cattle.Give some credibility to what humans can do i ask. Overall these movies are all about the action not the plot.

I am almost speechless, but thanks for stopping by.
I have always been a fan of the O.P. (Original Predator). I didn’t care for Predator 2 with Danny Glover or the AVP franchise. The second AVP wasn’t bad but I could live without it. I would be interested in seeing what Robert Rodriguez can do with the reboot. I loved his movie from Dusk til Dawn so lets hope he can do something good with this. Based on the casting and storyline, it sounds like he is heading in the right direction. I just hope they aren’t just trying to make an easy buck and actually try to put out a good product. Many people questions the casting of the movie but I think they did the right thing by casting average looking individuals for the roles. If they would have cast another Arnold looking guy then everyone would have thought it was a remake or a copycat. If you know anything about defeating the Predator then you know you have to beat him with your mind and not your muscles. Even Arnold couldn’t been the Predator in a fist fight so he had to out smart him.

I have to say that for us true fans this will be great!! To bash AVP and AVPR is because you are not a fan. Read a fucking comic book sometime and understand the characters you are trying to bash. The first AVP was just lacking the neaded blood and gore that come with the predator creature. Aliens are a bad ass charachter as well. New movies arent remakes,but continuations and new storys. much like books you should read one sometime.

Bishop, I could say the exact opposite. I’m a huge Alien fan, it was one of my favorite movies of all time. In fact, I’m a big fan of the original Predator film as well. Perhaps that is why I feel so insulted in how they have ‘whored out’ this franchise into such a joke. Can you not see the irony in this? They gave up on the plot years ago, and had to combine the two franchises together to salvage a weak plot.
They are doing the same thing the writers of Friday The 13th and Nightmare On Elm St did, when they combined the two villains to squeeze just one more dime out of a dead story.
Ridley Scott is going to reinvent the series, and film another Alien, and I’m pumped for that. The Predator franchise is dead, hiring Nimrod Antal to save it isn’t going to help a thing.

everybody as kids were always like who do you think would win predators or aliens?
They made the movie. the first one was fucking hella tight. AVP II was pretty weak. So im thinking they need to take it back to their planet and let everyone know why the aliens and predators hate each other. or redo-it to find out why the predators even kept coming to earth even though it was a fresh water planet.
the story needs to show what had happened to their planet. because in the first aliens Vs. Predator movie it clearly states briefly of what happened to their planet but then show predators still on their planet. They made it sound like their planet was destroyed or something.
So my question is why did they show more predators come down from their planet?
And what’s the deal with Utani chick? whats her play in all this?

Well im not going to hate on the franchise, but i really liked the alien series better. I mean, I think that the world needs more really good scary movies(like alien)even though its called a scifi they were really good. O and if Lwrence Fishburne is in this, you bet im going to see it.:)

“Nimrod” is a bible based name from the middle east, but Nimród Antal himself is a Hungarian director. To be honest he is not very well known worldwide, but just because I have seen several of his films I think he can solve this problem as well. Anyway, I give him a chance and after the movie I will make my oppinion if it will be good or a shit.
Umm idk if u guys know but the director said this is going to be a direct sequel to the first movie and not having anything to do with predator 2 or the avp movies. Just clarifiying for pol who don’t know not trying to be a dick either lol

First off to even compare the two very well done predator movies to the garbage that was AVP is not right. Avp is a franchise in and of itself it just borrows the characters from the predator franchise and i personally think that with Rodriguez at the helm this movie will be AWESOME and may reboot a the predator franchise away from the forever forsaken AVP name.
Ok, first of all, if anyone has done research on this movie, you will know that the director and Robert Rodriguez are trying to distance this movie from the God Awful AVP movies. Paul Anderson and Strauss brothers, a piece of advice, go back to film school and stop slaughtering cool franchises. The first mistake is when Holloywood allowed Anderson to obtain the rights to AVP and make a PG-13 cartoon-like piece of crap out of it. It could have been so much better. Second, they allowed the Strauss brothers with no directorial experiance to seal the fate and destroy it all together. If anything, Robert Rodriguez and Antel will save the Predator series. But thats just a prediction, the trailer looks great, but so did Terminator Salvation. The only way it will be awesome is that the creators stick to the motif of the predator and not stray away. Blood, gore, good coherent story is what made the first one great. Something the AVP series directors need to learn in the future, unless, god willing, they are banned from making movies that suck.

I would like to see a story that ties the first the last predator movie with a crazy alien twist. i take my entertainment just as serious as the next guy.I liked the fantasy of it all and the imagination of the story id like to participate in writing a preditor story. I’m skeptical about this, but I just watched this interview and it made me a little more hopeful about the movie.
C-mon. Preditor was one of the greatest made creatures made in movies and in this film there bringing all kinds of new preditors and theyre environment into the film. I think it will be fun and thrilling to watch but they shouldve brought Arnold back or at least a higher profile actor in the film. I guess Fishborne is in the film but hes no Arnold. I hope a preditor rips that dude up!!

I just saw the first predator movie last night, and i thought it was pretty damn good. I also own all of the alian movies and those are fantastic. Although the I liked the first AVP, (and i think the second one was an absolute waste of my time) I think that they never should have of made a avp or avpr.
I’ve watched this film online. I’ll put it this way, the director and the production crew have discovered a new level of crap. From lines like “what made you so fucked up?” to the comicaly mysterious character of Fishbourne, the perfectly manicured Predators with pristine skin [awful design approach], the God awful acting, the cringe-worthy dialogue [did I mention that? Not enough times!], and the earth shattering irony of an IDF operative being the innocent diplomat who doesn’t want violence. This film is turd, nothing more and nothing less. More F-bombs than the number of digits in pi…absolutely nothing good in this film. Brody tries to put on a Batman/Bale accent and it just sounds ridiculous. How can you make such a crap film from a franchise with such potential? Brody’s character is your typical tough guy who seems to know the jungle likee the back of his hand. Pathetic film. I’m glad I watched a pirated copy because I might have punched a ticket officer for not refunding me my money if I went to see this in a cinema.

Wow, you guys take this stuff pretty serious…I’m just a casal movie watcher and do so just for the enjoyment of the hour or two, not for finding the meaning of life, but I definately did love it.
Finally a Predator movie I cannot wait to see, I don’t want to hype myself up too much in fear of being completely let down. Judging by the trailer I’m pretty sure I won’t be, let down that is. The concept is right on the money. Cannot wait!!!
