Knucklehead tells the story of a fight promoter who is deep in debt to his rival, and in a desperate move, enlists a church handyman (played by the WWE’s Big Show) who helps him win back all the money he’s lost.
Knucklehead looks to be a heartfelt and lighthearted affair, which makes it a perfect fit for the WWE (?). Casting of Royal Pains star Mark Feuerstein immediately ups the nice guy quota, while also making me less likely to see it. I’d still be watching Royal Pains if not for him

The Scoop

Yet another WWE produced film (didn’t you read my Legendary preview? And I don’t mean that the preview itself was legendary, that’s the name of the film. Although my previews do tend to be somewhat epic. It’s like I’m a king amongst men) Knucklehead is directed by Michael W. Watkins, whose work mostly includes cinematography and one film as director that I’ve never heard of, so he must have been the budget choice for the WWE.

What’s Good About It?

The Big Show has a lot of charisma, and a really good sense of humor, especially when it comes to making fun of himself. His seven foot tall shoulders may be able to carry the weight of the film.

What’s Bad About It?

But probably not. The story looks fairly bland, and I can’t stand Mark Feuerstein.

Our Clever Prediction

Low box office, but with a limited budget, it may be considered a success. I’m hoping it’ll be huge. I want to see the Big Show in a romantic comedy with Katherine Heigl. I really hate her.
