Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)

This March 2010 Comedy, follows a group of best friends who’ve become bored with their adult lives.

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)

Adam (John Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Rob Corddry) is a party guy who can’t find the party; Nick’s (Craig Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (Clark Duke) won’t leave his basement.

After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads’ pounding, in the year 1986. This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures – one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!

Why you care

Lizzy Caplan and Kate Walsh. Plus, George McFly hasn’t been in a big movie for years.

Reminds Me Of

Hot Tub Time Machine really reminds me of Hot Dog, The Movie, an 80′s classic. Tons of chicks, skiing and partying!

The Good

I’m a sucker for movies about time travel, skiing and ski bunnies.

Our Clever Prediction

Back To The Future meets Hot Dog = 25 million at the box office. I’m not sure how many laughs Hot Tub Time Machine has to offer, especially after winter is done.

Note to director Steven Pink and writer Josh Heald : You would have been better off to do a re-imagination of Hot Dog than this movie. Using Chevy Chase as a resort owner of a run down ski hill, enter the babes and parties… it would have been much better off for a plot.

You could have created a much needed movie for the ski/snowboard industry, and given us something to enjoy over the winter besides old 80′s movies.
