Bioshock Movie

The movie is going to mimic the game in its entirely. I’ve been told it will resemble Resident Evil, but be filmed entirely in green screen like the movie 300.

What do you think? Can Wentworth Miller pull off the lead character in this movie?

Release Date

Bioshock is slated for a 2010 release, but don’t be surprised if it is put off until 2011. Update : No way this hits theaters until 2011 now.

Wentworth Miller (Michael from Prison Break) is rumored to play Jack, the lead character.

Reminds me of

Doom. But the film makers won’t make this mistake again, will they?

The Good

A great game, wonderful plot for a film. I am just recenetly playing Bioshock, so I am pumped for this movie! I know I’m a loser, because I just discovered this game and fell in love with it. After playing it so intensely, I can’t wait for a Bioshock movie.

The Bad

They destroy every film they take from the videogaming world. Doom was terrible, Alone in the Dark was bad… etc etc. Can they finally make a decent movie from a great game? Bioshock and Halo will be big tests for the movie makers.
