When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world.
Contrary to popular belief, the film takes place in ‘Year One’, not pre-historic ages… so… please stop nitpicking the time settings in the trailer. I do agreee it appears they are dressed more like cavemen than the period would realistically have been.
Although I have zero expectations for this film, it does have quite a buzz about it. I’ve reached my Jack Black limit for this year, and my Michael Cera quota was filled right after Superbad.
I’ll be surprised if the film passes the 40 Million dollar mark, which may be acceptable to the execs in Hollywood in this day and age.
